On this day in 1953, while flying his F-86F Sabre 40,000ft above of the Yalu river, Captain Parr of the US Air Force spotted a group of 4 MiG below him. He dives into the melee and chases them down to the ground level. while climbing back to 10,000 ft, he realizes that there are not 4 enemy aircraft around him, but 16! However, he managed to shot down two of them, damages a third one before zooming away to safety at full power, without a scratch.
