On this day in 1967, Colonel Robin Olds shot down a MiG-21 during operation Bolo near Hanoi. It was his second victory in South East Asia. Olds was already an ace from his 12 victories during WWII. All aircraft flown by Col Olds were named SCAT. Here SCAT XXVII seen at National Museum of the USAF, Dayton, OH.
